The best Las Vegas bachelor party itinerary runs Friday to Sunday. Ease in on Friday with a pool, a steakhouse dinner and a light night. Spend Saturday on one anchor activity, then a late dinner and a club you booked in advance. Close Sunday with brunch and a slow exit. Stay on the Center Strip, agree on the budget before anyone books a flight, and reserve dinner and nightlife weeks ahead.
Most bachelor weekends go wrong in predictable ways. Someone packs Saturday with five activities. Dinner for twelve has no reservation. The club turns the group away at the door, and half the guys quietly resent the cost. Vegas looks compact on a map, but pool lines, rides and table waits eat hours, so a loose plan falls apart fast.
This guide starts with the groundwork, then gives you four steps, one for each part of the weekend. Another Side Tours has run guided experiences in Las Vegas since 2007, so the timing advice reflects how groups actually move through the city. Where we mention our own activities, the listed prices are included so you can budget.
Lock in the basics before you book
Settle dates, headcount, budget and hotel first, because every later step depends on them. A group that skips this ends up renegotiating plans in the lobby.
Set dates, headcount and who pays
Pick a Friday-to-Sunday weekend in spring or fall if you can. Summer highs regularly top 100°F, which makes pool days and walking miserable by mid-afternoon. Holiday and convention weekends push room rates up. Midweek trips cost less, but the nightlife is much quieter.
On the money, the usual convention is that the guests split the groom’s share, and each guest covers his own flight, room share and activities. It is a custom, not a rule, so say it in the group chat before anyone books. For a cheaper trip, share suites, skip table service and pay for only one activity.
Agree on the budget in writing before the first flight is booked.
Choose where to stay
Book a suite or adjoining rooms at a Center Strip resort such as Caesars Palace, Bellagio or The Cosmopolitan. A central address lets you walk to dinner and clubs and keeps ride costs down. The best casino for your group is the one that ticks these boxes:
- A pool you actually want to spend Saturday afternoon at
- A nightclub or lounge on property, or next door
- Suites or connecting rooms that fit the whole group
- A daily resort fee you have added to the room rate before comparing prices
Step 1. Friday: arrive, check in and ease in
Keep Friday light: check in, get everyone fed, do one shared activity and be in bed at a reasonable hour. Saturday is the main event, and the guys who burn out on Friday spoil it.
Afternoon: break the ice
Aim to land by early afternoon, drop bags and head to the pool. If guests are arriving from different cities, add a short shared activity so everyone meets before dinner. The Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt runs about two hours past hotels, landmarks and restaurants and is listed at $99. It works for groups from 8 to 300+. A more relaxed option is The VIP High Roller & Open Bar Tour at $450, which includes six guests and can be booked for up to 25. It takes about 30 minutes, or about 2 hours with transportation.
Evening: steakhouse, then a light night
Reserve a steakhouse or similar sit-down dinner for around 7:30 p.m. and book it as soon as your dates are set, because large tables go first. After dinner, walk the casino floors or head Downtown to Fremont Street, which is free to walk. If you would rather be driven, the Las Vegas Hummer VIP Limo Tour covers the Strip and Downtown in about 4 hours. It needs at least 4 guests and fits up to 12 per Hummer. The listed rate is $499, dropping to $399 for five or more and $349 for six or more. Call it a night by 1 a.m.
Friday sets up Saturday, so protect your energy.
Step 2. Saturday: pick one daytime anchor
Choose one activity that ends by mid-afternoon, and do anything involving firearms or driving before the first drink. A single anchor leaves time for breakfast, a nap and a pool session before the big night.
Compare the anchor options
| Activity | Listed price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt | $99 | About 2 hours | Big groups, tight budgets |
| The Battle Pack Tour | $199 per guest | 45 min to 1 hour | One-on-one range instructor |
| The Heavy Hitter Tour | $249 per guest | 45 min to 1 hour | Four powerful firearms |
| The Lock & Load Tour | $299 per guest | About 1 hour | VIP room, private lanes |
| The Supercar Driving Tour | $299 and up | About 2 hours | Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren |
| Ultimate Las Vegas Brewery Tour | $349 per guest | About 4 hours | Arts District, three breweries, lunch |
The Battle Pack and Heavy Hitter tours include eye and ear protection. The supercar tour requires drivers to be 18 or older with a valid license, runs daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and meets at 14200 S Las Vegas Blvd, well south of the Strip, so plan a ride. The brewery tour needs two guests minimum and everyone must be 21+.
Work out the cost for your group
Say you have eight guys. The Battle Pack comes to $1,592 (8 x $199). Lock & Load is $2,392 (8 x $299), so the VIP upgrade costs the group $800 more. The brewery tour is $2,792 (8 x $349). Pick the tier the least flexible wallet in the group can accept.
Lock in headcount early. Our shooting and driving tours allow no cancellations or refunds within seven days of the tour date.
One well-chosen daytime activity beats three rushed ones.
Step 3. Saturday night: dinner and the club
Saturday night works when dinner, the pregame and the club entry are timed backward from a late club arrival. Nightlife in Vegas starts late, so most of your evening is about getting everyone there fed, dressed and on time.
Time dinner and the pregame
Reserve a table for the full group at 7 p.m. and allow two hours. Head back to the hotel to change by 9:15, have a drink in the suite, and leave for the club around 10:30 p.m. or later. Pick a dinner spot close to your hotel so the walk back is short. A family-style Italian restaurant or steakhouse handles large groups better than a tasting-menu place.
Book the nightclub ahead
Saturday is the busiest night of the week, and groups of men are often asked to pay a cover or are turned away without a table or guest-list reservation. Decide on table service or guest list before you leave home, and settle on a hard end time. Ask each venue these questions before you pay:
- What is the minimum spend, and does it include tax and gratuity?
- Are mixers and extra bottles priced separately?
- What time must the group arrive, and is there a cap on group size?
- What is the dress code?
Book the club before you book the flight, because Saturday sells out first.
Step 4. Sunday: recover and settle up
Keep Sunday short: a late brunch, a low-effort recovery and a clean financial wrap-up. The goal is to get everyone to the airport in one piece, still friends.
Brunch and a cheap recovery
Reserve a late brunch at or near the hotel and give everyone time to sleep. If flights leave in the evening, the pool is the free option. A walk past the Bellagio fountains costs nothing either. If the group wants something more, a half-day outside the city, such as a guided Hoover Dam or Red Rock trip, gets everyone out of the casino. Our natural-attraction tours run 3 to 5 hours and are priced at $249 to $399.
Settle the money fast
Have one person keep a running list of shared costs and send the final totals before everyone leaves the hotel. Asking for payment within a week of the trip works better than chasing people in the following month. Revisit the opening agreement on who covers the groom, and stick to it.
Squaring up before the airport keeps the weekend a good memory.
Ready to build your weekend
A strong Las Vegas bachelor party itinerary comes down to a few habits: an easy Friday, one anchor on Saturday, reservations made early and a short, calm Sunday. Agree on costs first and book dinner and nightlife next, then fill in the rest around them.
